Blue Bolt Cutie Mark

Yes! I got Adobe Illustrator and can make better artwork. I was so happy that I decided to take another whack at the cutie mark that is on my main character's Flank.

Blue Bolt is the lead character in Dream Little Pony, currently the story is going through editing to make sure my first story isn't my last story.

Versions:
1: Made in Paint.net, not unified, very unprofessional. The picture contained different colored Rainbow Dash Cutie Marks all plopped together. It wasn't my most favorite piece.

2: Made in Adobe Illustrator, I got rid of the design I had in the first version where there were three clouds and reduced it to just one. I joined all the lightning bolts to be "Connected" to the cloud.

3: I altered the shapes of all the bolts making them more compact and then moved them upwards a bit so they were all at the same area. I didn't want to have one longer than the others.

4: I added a drop shadow to the clouds and bolts.

5: I combined the blue bolts with the cloud to make the drop shadow look more professional. I also cut off the part of the gray bolt that went behind the cloud to make the drop shadow look even more professional.

6. I cleaned up some of the lines that were curvy and added an effect to the center gray bolt to make it stand out a tiny bit more.

7: Added a blue gradient under the bolt.

8: Created new Cutie Mark.

I appreciate all input, good or bad. If you have any ideas to help me improve this design I would be very grateful.
